The Daniel Tanner Foundation was established in 2010 by Professor Daniel Tanner, a distinguished educator, scholar, author, and lifelong advocate for public education.
Professor Tanner established the Foundation with investments from his book royalties, transforming the work of a lifetime devoted to education into a lasting commitment to future generations.

Daniel Tanner's Vision
Professor Tanner devoted his professional life to education. As Professor Emeritus at the Rutgers University Graduate School of Education, he established the doctoral program in Curriculum Studies. An internationally recognized author and scholar, his work explored curriculum, educational reform, progressive education, adolescence, and the role of education in a democratic society.
Through The Daniel Tanner Foundation, his commitment to education continues beyond his lifetime.
